On D-Day, 6 June 1944, General Eisenhower was confident that his soldiers and subordinate leaders were well-trained and ready to accomplish their mission. Leadership is just as important today as is was during World War II. This holds true for any organization whether it is a military unit or a commercial enterprise. With 76 million baby boomers getting ready to retire next year, 2011, many CEOs are being asked: “Are Your Leaders Ready to Take Charge?” Unfortunately in most cases, the answer is that they are not.
